Zoom

This is for sure the most requested feature.

Android

Another one popular request. This should not be so hard as zoom and this feature will be released soon after it.

Videos

Right now Jaipho does not supports videos. This is nice feature, but will probably come somewhere after android release.

Json like config

Currently, you have to configure Jaipho by using predefined constants. It is easy, but it is not good base for future extensions.
New jaipho configuration will be able to read old, constants based options and will be able to read json like options too. Dao, which stores gallery images information will also get the json like interface.
This feature should be developed before Jquery integration.

Component

Right now Jaipho requires special, own template. It means that when you want to display gallery, you have to navigate user to an another page. Main disadvantage of that approach is that you can not fully integrate jaipho with frameworks which are loading subpages through an ajax requests (jqtouch, iui). Another big disadvantage is that jaipho can not be integrated in web apps, since standard forbids full page navigation or reload.
The component feature will enable jaipho to be embedded in some div and it will support to change gallery information on the fly (ajax)

Jquery & Jqtouch

The goal will be to be able to use Jaipho as any other Jquery plugin or extension. Easy to include, easy to start. This one is quite tightly connected to an Component.

New slider engine

There are some drawbacks on current slider mechanism. Like not be able to start over when last slide is shown, or limit in max number of slides (some 140 on iPad).
New engine will solve those issues and hopefully will be even faster than current one.
